217 W. Koch St.
Bozeman, MT 59715
The building is on the corner of Koch and Third. The apartment is at the top of the stairs.
After deciding to stay in town a little longer and try to track down the fourth target, Giggy headed over to where people were gathering to organize to start the march. Meanwhile, Atilius and Twitch headed over to one of the buildings along the route to see if they could gain access to the roof, and Nigel stayed in their hotel room to wait.
Atilius and Twitch got downtown and people were already starting to line the parade route. There was a guard standing in front of the building they wanted to ascend, but the alley was apparently unmonitored. They headed down the alley a short distance, and Twitch boosted Atilius up to grab the ladder of the old fire escape, which came down under his weight with a series of loud clangs. Ignoring the noise, they began their ascent.
The crowd was fairly dense when Giggy got to the meeting point, and he quickly found an open bar, and gave the bartender there 5k for package liquor, which he started distributing to people in the crowd, regretting that he hadn't brought heavier weapons since several people in the crowd were armed.
As Twitch rounded the last corner in the stairs of the fire escape, he saw a gun aimed at him over the edge of the building and stopped. Atilius looked up to see why Twitch had stopped, and, spotting the gunman, said, "Hi."
His greeting was returned with silence from above.
"Um, is there a reason..." Atilius started.
The silence from above continued.
Twitch started backing down the stairs slowly, forcing Atilius to back down behind him. Once they were a couple stories down, Atilius stopped Twitch and tried opening a window, but the window appeared jammed. Twitch tried the window, and it came open under his greater strength. Unfortunately, opening the window onto the fire escape set off the fire alarms in the building.
Atilius and Twitch quickly made their way down the fire escape and into the milling crowd moving away from the building. Many people were coming out of the building at this point, making it easy for them to disperse into the crowd.
The fire truck was blasting its horn over its siren trying to get through the crowd where Giggy was waiting. The parade organizers had begun to start getting people in some semblance of order, but the excess liquor that was making its way around the crowd was making that a little more difficult.
As Giggy was making his way back to the sidewalk to let a second fire truck past, he spotted Mikey in the crowd, not 20 feet away. Giggy started to follow Mikey when he realized that there was no way in the current crowd that he was going to get any closer - or get a clean shot while hidden in the crowd. He crouched as though to tie his shoe, and pulled a road flare out of his coat, lit it, and tossed it to his left between the legs of the nearby people.
Staying crouched, Giggy began to draw his gun as the crowd started to clear away.
Unfortunately, one of Mikey's bodyguards was on the ball and spotted Giggy. He took a shot through the crowd, grazing Giggy's shoulder.
Giggy rolled out of the way and shot the bodyguard, getting a solid hit in his off shoulder.
The bodyguard shot again, getting a more solid hit on Giggy, but not yet too serious.
Giggy fired again and the bodyguard dropped.
There was another gunshot, and Giggy wondered where it was coming from.
Giggy rolled up and took a shot at Mikey, who promptly fell, revealing a second bodyguard. Giggy wasted no time and fired a burst into the second bodyguard, who also promptly dropped.
Giggy got up quickly, scrambled closer to the bodies, fired another shot into Mikey's prone body, and took a picture with his pocket secretary so they could get paid, then disappeared into the disintegrating crowd.
When Atilius got the news that Giggy was done, he made his way to a copy shop where he could lease a secured line and called his contact. he made arrangements to receive payment that evening.
Giggy called Connie to try to arrange transport home, and found that she could get them in five days, and she couldn't get a hold of anyone who could help any faster.
So, now for next time...
