Bozeman, MT 59715
The building is on the corner of Koch and Third. The apartment is at the top of the stairs.
Nigel summoned two more watchers, and sent one to watch the man on the roof across the street, and had the other circle the area looking for any things with the Knight Errant logo on them.
Michelle then called Andy to let him know that they were going in that evening. She transferred him 15k to him and let him know that they would need external security and the alarms cut.
As Michelle got off the phone, one of Nigel's watchers returned to let him know that he had found the symbol on a nearby window. Nigel clarified his instructions so that the watcher only needed to report the symbol if it was moving.
A few minutes later, Nigel's other watcher returned to let Nigel know that someone had come to the guy on the roof. Nigel followed the watcher off in astral space to find out what was going on, and found a mage, also in astral space, with the man on the roof. Nigel dropped a healing spell on the mage, channeling the magical energy against the mage's astral presence, and the mage retaliated, then dropped out of astral space. Nigel left the watcher there to watch, and returned to his body.
Nigel healed his wounds, taking a little stun damage from the spell, and they waited. About three hours later, when nothing happened, they decided to go in.
As Rainbow was driving them into the complex, Michelle called Andy to let him know they were ready. He had the security cut as they pulled into the parking lot.
As they pulled up to the building, Rainbow and Twitch looked around, but didn't see anything. Nigel checked astrally and the area looked clear.
Nigel, Twitch, and Michelle cautiously got out of the van and looked around. As Twitch opened the door, there was a shot. Twitch shoved Nigel and Michelle into the building as Rainbow turned one of his guns on the sniper.
Nigel's watcher showed back up to tell Nigel that the guy on the roof was doing something. Rainbow fired a second shot as Nigel, Twitch and Michelle sprinted down the hall, assuming Lonestar or Knight Errant would be there shortly.
Rainbow reported over the radio that there were no more shots being fired.
Twitch and Michelle were able to quickly identify the correct box, it was right where they were told it would b e. Twitch grabbed it, and they made a bee line for the door.
They jumped into the van, and Rainbow casually drove out of the parking lot, retracting the turret as he reached the street. As they left the complex, a Knight Errant patrol car with its lights on met them, and quickly spun around to pursue.
Nigel attempted to control the driver of the cop car, but failed. The cop shouted, "Stop the van," over his PA, but Rainbow kept driving. Nigel made another attempt to control the driver, and again failed. Again, the cop announced over his PA, "Stop and turn off the van."
Michelle turned and fired her heavy pistol at the pursuit car, taking out one of his lights. Rainbow then deployed a turret and took out the driver of the car.
With the pursuit dropped, Michelle called to notify their employer that they had the package and needed to know the drop point. She got directions, and let the operator know she needed about an hour to get there and make sure they had shaken any pursuit.
