Izelda drifted around through the debris from the ship and managed to find some oars to deliver to Leve and Locke. Diving after part of the ship, she also retrieved a couple of amphorae. She then returned to the surface and placed those in the launch with Leve, Locke, and Elizabeth. Heading to the other side of the wreckage, she grabbed the two launches and pulled them around to the third. Grabbing all three, she started back to their ship.

The new sailors turned out to be a reasonably good addition to their crew. The amphorae turned out to be filled with olive oil. It was the other half of the cargo that had been volatile and exploded.

A few days later they arrived in Dyvers. Leve, Schmidt, and Verika went to various merchants to discuss sale of their cargo. Elizabeth and Izelda wandered the town, but eventually went out of town and set up a series of evening bonfires in the name of Serenrae. After several days of unloading cargo and paying the port fees, the last of their goods were off the ship.

Leve and Verika went to a seller of magical trinkets to talk about various items they were looking for, and Leve cast friendship on him to help in their negotiations. While they were talking, Leve thought he noticed Verika move something red off the counter. The merchant obviously was too engrossed in Leve to notice. Verika casually turned to walk out of the shop when Leve excused himself and followed her. She took off running and Leve sent Spanky after her. Spanky climbed on Verkia, only knowing that Leve wanted something red. As Verika disappeared into the crowd, Spanky came back with a red-orange rock. Leve took it and went back into the shop and placed it on the counter. "My apologies for that. She will be punished."

"What is that?" the merchant asked.

"Didn't my associate just remove that from your counter?" Leve asked in response.

"I've never seen it before, and it isn't magical to boot."

Elizabeth's forays into the woods did not go unnoticed. In addition to many people showing up - Izelda and Locke were feeding everyone, Elizabeth and Locke were taking collections (and Izelda was giving everyone back whatever they donated), and Elizabeth was preaching around the fire each night - the local priests of Serenrae also started coming. And though the local leader of the church was questioning some of Elizabeth's methods, she was glad to take the donations to the church's coffers.

On the fifth day they were returning to the ship, more or less together, when Schmidt noticed their berth was empty. Leve and Locke went to the harbormaster to be informed that the captain confirmed your goods were offloaded and that she had another cargo waiting that she needed to get to.

Then a familiar-looking woman grabbed Izelda by the shoulder. "I thought that was you," Deserea said. "How did you get here?"
