This week we started out on board the freighter the evening before it was ready to set sail for Sydney. The ship's 'doctor' (for lack of a better term) was looking into Michelle's wounds and insisted that she stay in the infirmary and rest. Meanwhile, Giggy and buckwheat began to mingle with the crew, but the first officer - the only one who spoke much English, told them that they had to stay below decks and out of sight.
Later that evening Buckwheat was playing darts in the mess with a couple of the crew while Giggy was in the portion of the lower cargo deck which passed for his cabin. Giggy thought he saw something outside his window, and opened the port to see if there was anything there. He didn't see anything there, but a short while later, he noticed a smell of sulfur and burnt rubber, then he heard a gunshot. Hearing this he made his way toward the rear of the ship where he knew Michelle was.
Meanwhile, Michelle had heard a commotion on the deck above her, and was quickly getting dressed. She unlocked the door when Giggy knocked, and they decided to head toward the front of the ship.
As Michelle was getting dressed, one of Buckwheat's companions got a call on his radio and ran out of the mess. The other guy with Buckwheat didn't seem to take much notice, so they went on playing for a few minutes, until they heard something in the kitchen behind them. They stopped playing and the sailor headed behind a table to their right. Buckwheat noticed something small fly past him, and the sailor dropped to the ground unconscious.
Buckwheat quickly stepped to the side while turning himself invisible. Moving carefully, he was able to see that there was someone crouching in the doorway to the kitchen. Unfortunately, Giggy called Buckwheat, and the noise of his phone gave away his location and the crouching person was able to shoot another poisoned dart into Buckwheat's chest.
Apparently being of tougher stuff than the sailor, Buckwheat did not lose consciousness, but instead ran out into the corridor and back toward the stern of the ship where he expected to find Giggy and Michelle.
While running down the corridor, Giggy saw someone in black duck behind a bulkhead, and just as he was reaching for the person in black, he was run into by an invisible Buckwheat.
Giggy instinctively grabbed whatever hit him, and initially thinking it was whoever hit him, prepared to swing. Buckwheat dropped the invisibility spell just as the guy behind the bulkhead stepped out and threw several shuriken at the group. As he turned to run, Giggy swung and connected solidly with the back of his head. A second swing dropped the man to the floor.
They quickly tied him up, and then proceeded toward the bridge with the captive over Buckwheat's shoulder. When they got to the rear deck, they could see several of the crew unconscious on the deck. Bringing the captive into the bridge, Giggy noticed an explosive charge mounted to the wall.
Finding and rousing the first officer, they were able to explain to some of the crew that were coming too to look for the explosives. They found several charges in various places, and were able to dispose of them.
The next morning, they set sail for Sydney and arrived unscathed several days later. Mr. Sama had a car pick them up at the dock and had them paid for their services.
