What if my session is more than a day long?

Montana Role-Playing Calendar

Question:

What if I have an over-night session, or one that lasts more than a day?

Answer:

If you have a session that lasts more than a day, you can easily create a session that ends the day after it starts.

To do this, merely set the end hour to an earlier hour in the day than the start hour. The calendar will assume that your session goes overnight and adjust the end date forward for you.

For example, if your date is set to December 5, 2004, and your start time is 6:00pm (18:00), and you set your end time to 9:00pm (21:00), the calendar will assume that you are playing from 6:00-9:00pm on Dec. 5, 2004. However, if you set your date to December 5, 2004 and your start time to 6:00pm (18:00), and you set your end time to 5:45pm (17:45), the calendar will assume that you are playing from 6:00pm on December 5 to 5:45pm on December 6, 2004.

There is not currently a means for accommodating sessions that are scheduled to last for more than 24 hours.

If you are planning on having sessions on consecutive days, you will probably want to consider just scheduling several sessions, one per day.
