Why do only some sessions and events have maps?

Why do only some of the game sessions and gaming events have maps to their locations? Shouldn't there be a map to every gaming location? Wouldn't that make it easier?

Calendar members can choose to have maps to their locations or not. Some embers prefer not to disclose the location of their gaming events for privacy reasons. Others may not have the address when they create the entry in the calendar, and still others may specifically leave the address blank and request that potential players call or email to get the location and directions.

However, for those who do provide a complete address for their gaming locations, and who choose to have a map displayed, the map will be available on the game session, gaming event, and game pages in the Calendar.
